Tools/400 started in 1997 as a collection of freeware for AS/400 programmers. Today it is the home of plug-ins for IBM Rational Developer for i, of the Peek/400 file editor and of many utilities and service programs for RPG and CL.
Most tools are my own work. iSphere and Rapid Fire were created by Frank Hildebrandt, and I have developed them further. iRPGUnit grew out of RPGUnit, which Lacton started in 2006 and Cyril Clemenceau continued; Mihael Schmidt started the plug-in, which I took over and extended.
