Server log files

This site runs on a server that I operate myself in Germany; there is no hosting provider. The web server records each access in a log file: the page visited, date and time, the status and the amount of data sent, the referring page and the browser. The IP address of visitors does not reach the server and is not stored. The log files are needed to operate the site securely (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR); they are deleted automatically after 14 days.

Downloads from GitHub

The downloads and the source code are hosted on GitHub. When you click a download link or a link to a repository, your browser connects to GitHub, Inc. (USA), which processes your IP address according to the GitHub Privacy Statement. This site itself reads the release information from GitHub on the server — no data of visitors is passed on.

E-mail

If you write me an e-mail, I use your address and your message only to answer you.
